Visiting the house of three martyr brothers Hamid, Saeid and Majid Mahdavi Zafarghandi on late Sunday, Rouhani met with the family of the revered martyrs and honored their patience and self-sacrifice.
Describing their parents’ patience and resistance as praiseworthy and commendable, Rouhani said the parents of the martyrs in addition to proper, Islamic upbringing of their children, are present on the scene of defense for Islamic Revolution with a spirit of resistance.
“The family of martyrs and veterans have done a lot of self-sacrifice and today also they are proud of their self-sacrifice to God,” he said.
Rouhani underlined that, “As we've been able to pass through the difficulties on the way of Islamic Revolution with the help of divine blessings and the nation’s efforts, we will definitely overcome difficulties also with the same spirit from now on.”
At the end of this visit, President Rouhani awarded the martyrs’ family with an honorable mention.
In another unexpected visit, President Rouhani visited the house of 70% disabled Veteran Abbas Taefeh, and praised the courage and sacrifice of the veteran during the eight years of sacred defense.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Rouhani also appreciated the veteran’s family and especially his wife, saying they have a high religious spirit and God will certainly reward them in this world and the Hereafter.
At the end of meeting, Abbas Taefeh offered a copy of his book, including the statements of Leader of Islamic Revolution about Iranian Armed Forces, the one he has collected with boarding efforts.
